We welcomed Fr. Frank Kuczera, OMI, as our pastor on July 1, 2025.
From Fr. Frank’s article for the September 2025 edition of our Epistle Newsletter:
“After eight years in formation, I was asked to come back to my home Oblate Province, Lacombe, and I was appointed pastor of Holy Canadian Martyrs Church in Ottawa. I accept this invitation with joy and humility, and I look forward to serving and walking with my sisters and brothers of this wonderful community. I pray that Christ may embrace every person I encounter with many blessings, because, at the end of the day, it’s not about me; it is about Christ and Christ’s liberating and unconditional love for all of us. I pray that I stay open to God’s Spirit working in and through us, following in the footsteps of our founder, Saint Eugene de Mazenod, and so many holy Oblates who have walked this path before me.”
