507 Sandwich Club – Community Outreach
507 SANDWICH CLUB FUNDING
To continue this wonderful initiative, our 507 Sandwich Club needs funding. Centre 507 has seen an unforeseen rise in their numbers and therefore cannot continue to help fund this parish initiative through their grants from the City of Ottawa. Therefore, we are looking to secure a corporate sponsor to help purchase the groceries to enable us to continue making sandwiches in 2024 and beyond. The 507 Sandwich Club continues to operate on an at-home/delivery basis, making about 200 sandwiches per week. Our enthusiastic members sign up weekly to do grocery shopping, distribute the grocery kits, make the sandwiches, and pick them up to deliver them to Centre 507 at 507 Bank St. The club continues to grow, welcoming six new members in 2022. We are grateful for the ongoing financial support of our parishioners.
