We all know that the sacraments are an outward sig We all know that the sacraments are an outward sign of God’s grace, like a hug from the Lord. Our young people felt God’s loving embrace tonight at our Reconciliation service ♥️. We walk this path together with joy, as we turn to God, and resolve to love the way Jesus taught us!

Last night’s Youth Group panel was full of lively Last night’s Youth Group panel was full of lively discussion, real life experiences, a prayer for all vocations, and of course, 🍕! We are all called to serve the Lord in our own way. Our young people were able to explore the callings of religious life, priesthood, single life and married life. If you could ask a question about any vocation, what would it be?

The ecumenical liturgy at the de Mazenod Chapel ma The ecumenical liturgy at the de Mazenod Chapel marked the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. As the Apostle Paul asserts in his letter to the Ephesians, “there is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling” (4:4). #christianunityweek #hope #yourcalling

Green has now returned to the altar. The church se Green has now returned to the altar.
The church settles back into its ordinary rhythm.
Do not go to sleep, remain awake.
God is still calling.
Even in the quiet. Even when it isn’t obvious.
Answer the call.

Youth Group at Canadian Martyrs last night was liv Youth Group at Canadian Martyrs last night was lively, reflective, prayerful, and of course, pizza-ful! We learned about the Visitation, prayed the Magnificat, talked about turning to Mother Mary for her intercession in troubling times, and then watched a short video about Our Lady of Hope and her intercession in the Franco-Prussian war. We prayed a decade of the rosary, praying for peace, and reminded each other to be hopeful, loving and supportive of one another, especially when times are dark.

Our Lady of Hope, pray for us!

If you are a Young Adult, please join us TONIGHT at 7pm! Saturday Mass at 5pm, then Pizza Night at 6pm, and Young Adult Group at 7pm. Hope to see you there!
