🇨🇦 Every step counts — just like Terry Fox taught us. This September, our school communities will honour Terry’s legacy by participating in the annual Terry Fox School Run. Together, we’re raising funds for cancer research and showing students the power of hope, resilience, and giving back. 🏃‍♂️Let’s keep Terry’s dream alive — one toonie, one student, and one stride at a time.#ocsbBeCommunity #TerryFoxRun #OCSB #TerryFoxLivesHere #CancerResearch 🔗 Learn more about the inspiring story of Terry Fox: terryfox.org/ ... “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

Thank you, Agnes Richard for leading our Lunch & L Thank you, Agnes Richard for leading our Lunch & Learn today, as we mark the 10th anniversary of Pope Francis’ encyclical, Laudato Si’. This letter calls all members of the human family to address the climate emergency, and advocate for justice for people in developing nations, who are disproportionately affected by climate change.

As a group, we reflected on what we do as a parish to care for our common home 🌎, as well as individuals, and as a society. We also discussed divestment from fossil fuels. If you are curious about how to make an impact with your money, we invite you to take a look at the Catholic Eco-Investment Accelerator Toolkit. This tool will walk you through the discernment process to see, judge, and act in a way that reflects your commitment to a sustainable future.

We invite you to share your ecological conversion story. How have you been moved to work towards building a better world?
